My dayhome is located in the community of Shawnessy, just off of 162nd Ave SW. I currently have availability for children of all ages, for Full and Part Time care. The surrounding areas easily accessible to my location include Somerset, Bridlewood, Woodbine, Millrise, Mindapore, Evergreen, Silverado and Sundance. I am currently providing transportation to and from the following schools: Evergreen Elementary, Father Doucet Elementary, and Janet Johnstone Elementary.
I have been the Owner/Operator of a Dayhome now for 9 years. In addition to my experience, and the ability to provide several references, I do have Police Clearance, CPR and First Aid training, as well as taken additional courses at SAIT, and Mount Royal, for EMR training.
What I provide:
2 healthy Snacks (Morning & Afternoon)
Healthy hot lunch, and cold drinks.
My home is a Clean, Pet Free, & Smoke Free environment, outfitted with a very large, brightly lit, main floor, indoor play area. As well as a large, secure, fenced back yard. Our day consist of the following activities, Story Time, Arts and Crafts, Songs and Dance, Free Play, Centers, and Outdoor Free Play (weather permitted). I also coordinate "Fun Days", some examples include, Backwards Day, Sports Day, Holiday Parties (Christmas, Easter, St. Patrick Day, Valentines Day), Fun Lunch, Pizza Parties, Pajama & Movie Days, and much much more.
